Your Dream Is Worth The Effort

Everyone has or at least has had a dream. Many of our dreams and aspirations are planted into our hearts and minds like seeds. Seeds need the right amount of sun light and the right amount of water in order to be properly nourished and grow. If one of these elements is missing or in disproportion, the seed will wither and die.

If you take an honest look at the world you live in, you will find a whole generation who has lost the ability to dream, to reach beyond the walls of their circumstances, and grasp what they want out of life. You will also see another tragedy when you run across people who have huge dreams of doing something with their life. They never bother to take the risk needed to make the dream a reality. The truth we all have to face is that if we truly want our dreams to come true, it will cost us something.

The question you have to ask yourself is whether or not your dream is worth the effort. Is it worth the risk? At times the pursuit of pleasure is immersed in pain and adversity. It will take you out of your comfort zone and stretch the way you think and believe. There are going to be a lot of bumps in the road, and at times you are going to have to motivate and encourage yourself to keep going. Are you willing to pour out your life and give all of yourself to pursue your lifeís passion? Are you consumed by the thought of doing what it takes to accomplish the goals you have set for your life?

The pursuit of your life goals is not all about you. The story of your life is meant to be told, to inspire future leaders, business associates, your children, family, friends, and other peoples path you cross. You want to take your life and make a legacy that you can pass on to your children so that you can help them plant and water the seeds of their dreams. Dreamers make other dreamers.

You will encounter opposition and adversity on the road to success, and how you respond to these circumstances will be the deciding factor between living a fulfilled life or living in the land of ìwhat if.î Not everyone will support you in pursuing your dreams, and you may even lose some relationships in your life. Will you allow your dream to be burned up and left in ashes, or will you choose to keep fighting and striving to keep it alive?

At the end of the day, it all comes back to whether or not you believe your dream is worth the effort, risks, , and the pain it will take to make it a reality. If you truly want to succeed and meet your goals, the answer to this question is a resounding yes. If you are not sure about if you are willing to take the risk, you should spend some time searching your soul and wrestling with whether or not you really want to live in mediocrity.
