Your mind will, undoubtedly, pave your way to success if you are able to grasp the meaning of this exceptional quote by Brian Tracy, "All successful people are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be and then they work every day towards their distant vision, their goal or purpose." Against this backdrop, success can be considered an outcome of two equally important pre-requisites - the courage to 'dream big' and the determination to 'realize' the dream. To put it differently, if you are blessed with the ‘imaginative genius’ to guide you, and can make unrelenting efforts to give a purposeful direction to your choicest dreams, you are sure to reach great heights of success.
There is simply no denying the fact that the power of human mind surpasses all else. Innumerable instances stand testimony to the fact that a mere 'brainwave' has, more often than not, been a causative factor for great inventions and discoveries. People with 'imaginative intellect' are always successful in whatever ventures they choose to undertake. You may not be aware of it, but your mind is a ‘restless’ genius always at work, generating ideas... ideas that can literally 'move' the world. In my dvd “How To Turn Your Idea Into A Million Dollars, I state that every person has come up with a million dollar idea in their lifetime. Since ‘everything is in the mind’, limitations, if any, are in the mind too. It is the mind that inspires you to reach the pinnacle of success and, though it sounds strange, but it is the same mind that discourages you from ‘daring’ to dream. You have to learn to mould your thought-process in such a way that your dearest dreams can ‘see’ the face of reality. Once you overcome the self-created barriers of your mind and free your imagination from all bindings, you will be surprised at your own potential to make it big in life… your ability to do wonders. There is a book I recommend called “The Greatest Miracle In The World” by Og Mandino. It will give you a whole new perspective on your ability to dream.
It would be beneficial for you to remember that dreams, and efforts to achieve them, are directly proportional – that is to say, the bigger your dreams, the greater should be your efforts to accomplish them. However, a word of caution is required here – you need to understand that ‘dreaming big’ and ‘daydreaming’ are not synonyms. Unrealistic goals, which result from daydreaming, may actually lead to a fall, without any prior warning. Try to take one step at a time – don’t let your imagination run wild. Rather run your thoughts through proper channel and allow your dreams to graduate from a lower, easily attainable level to a more challenging one. Having done that, ‘spread’ the wings of your imagination and soar into the magic world of your dreams – even if you do not reach the sky, you will, at the very least, reach the top of the highest mountain. So don’t hold yourself back – step into the wonderful world of dreams and imagination, with the determination to succeed at all cost. Always keep in mind the inspiring words of William Arthur Ward – ‘If you can imagine it, you can create it. If you can dream it, you can become it.’
